Day 12: Five (major) blessings in my life

1. I don’t have a lot of friends, but I feel enough because I’m always surrounded by caring, loving, and supportive friends. I’m not good yet very slow in building friendship with others, but thanks God I can maintain some of it for a long time. Most of my close friends don’t express their love aggressively, also our friendships can be categorized as low maintenance friendship, but even if we rarely in contact, I know they love me and they know I love them.
2. I don’t have a “perfect family” as portrayed by movies or influencers out there — even it can’t be called a “completed family” — but I still managed to be happy with my current condition. And I feel my past life experience had major contribution in my growth, shaped me to who I am right now.
3. I don’t have privilege of being such “rich person”, but I’m kinda privileged in education. I don’t go overseas to continue my study tho, nor being one of the top kids in uni, but still, getting chances to get into favorite schools since I was kid is a blessing.
4. I love my job. Never thought that I managed to “reroute”, change my path, and go this far in this industry that 100% new to me when I was a fresh graduate. Never thought that I could get into one of my dream companies and work on a role that I like, at the same time. Never thought I would know how it feels to work in a tall building inside the most luxurious business district in the town  (even though just for three days because I had to work from home on the next day).
5. I get a chance to work from home. Of course I hate this pandemic and all of its impact, but still, I’m thankful that I could take a rest for awhile from Jakarta’s hustle and bustle, work from Bandung with my mom beside me. I used to wonder how it feels like to be at home with my mom every day because she’s a working mom since I was born until she had retired last year, and now I know.

(Dear future me, I don’t know who you will become someday, or what you will be in the next life. But just to let you know: I’m currently living my life to the fullest because almost all of big aspects in my life are going along perfectly. My life genre seems like shifting to less angst right now — just a small info that maybe you’d love to remember!)
